Q&A
Q:Why you should get tested ?

A low AMH suggests reduced ovarian reserve, while a higher level indicates a greater reserve. It's important to note that elevated levels can also occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

The AMH blood test can reveal if your levels align with what's expected for your age. This information is particularly helpful if you're considering fertility treatments like egg freezing or IVF.

According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 6 individuals globally faces infertility, affecting 17.5% of adults worldwide who struggle to conceive. Both high and low AMH levels can influence fertility. However, it's essential to understand that AMH measurement cannot specify the exact number of viable eggs a woman has left or predict her chances of pregnancy.

Keep in mind that certain types of contraceptive pills may impact your results. If you decide to stop taking the pill, it's recommended to wait until your menstrual cycle returns to its regular pattern before undergoing this test. Additionally, if you're not planning to conceive, ensure you use an alternative form of contraception.
